The Chelsea Flower Show 2011 will be running from the 24th to the 28th of May at the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea. Widely renowned as the most prestigious flower show in the world, preparation for the event begins months, sometimes years in advance. In the case of the Australian Garden there is also the logistical task of shipping the entire garden over to the UK.

We join the creator of the Australian Garden, Jim Fogarty to find out just how much work goes in to designing and building the garden, and why the event is so important to an overseas entrant. Watch the video here.

Are you a member of the RHS? Will you be visiting the show this year?
