Celebrity chef Brian Turner has teamed up with Prostate UK and BAUS (British Association of Urological Surgeons) in Glasgow to help save men’s lives.

Brian demonstrates how making simple but important changes to diet can reduce the risk and on-set of prostate cancer.

Each year, 221,000 men die of prostate cancer and 678,000 men live with the condition. If caught early, it's a treatable disease, but embarrassment, ignorance and macho attitudes prevent men from getting checked out.

New research reveals that 4 out of 10 men (39%) are unwilling to have a medical check because they do not think they’re at risk of developing the disease.

A quarter of men fear the medical examination, believing it’s too intrusive, 10% of men think it’s embarrassing and 1 in 25 think a prostate check is an invasion of their masculinity.
