Gardening tip of the week

week2pic4L

This month, when it gets warmer, you can give some of your houseplants a treat by putting them out in the sun for a few hours being careful to keep them out of draughts. Cacti and bougainvillea will benefit, the latter particularly so if it is a recalcitrant flowerer. Make sure they do not dry out and take the opportunity to clean up any saucers they normally stand in and windowsills they stand on so as to reduce the chances of pest problems.
