The Antiques Roadshow is about to start recording its 31st series at venues across the UK.
One of the most popular factual programmes on British television, with an average audience of just under six million, The Antiques Roadshow has a six-month presence on BBC One with 26 episodes a year coming from locations all over the country. Over 500 shows have been broadcast since its inception and it has been recorded in 420 venues across the country. It often has many thousands of people turning out to meet the experts, sometimes queuing for up to five hours.
If you would like to visit a valuation day, doors are open from 9.30am to 4.30pm. People with large pieces of furniture or other big items can send details and photographs of their objects to: ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, BBC, Whiteladies Road, Bristol BS8 2LR or e-mail them to: antiques.roadshow@bbc.co.uk. It may be possible to arrange to look at the item in advance and organise transportation to the venue.

Fiona Bruce is fronting The Antiques Roadshow now that Michael Aspel has stepped down. The previous presenters were Hugh Scully, Angela Rippon and Bruce Parker.
Fiona, a presenter on the BBC's Ten O'Clock News and BBC One's Crimewatch, says, "I am thrilled to be asked to present The Antiques Roadshow. I have watched it and been a fan since I can remember. My Sunday nights are not complete without watching the programme and it is a dream come true to present it."

If I send some photos of interesting objects can someone have a look at them?
We wanted to visit the antiques road show, and note the nearest to our area will be Skipton in May. Please can you tell me how we go about obtaining admittance etc, as we have never visited one before.
Doors open at 9.30am, it's best to arrive about an hour before. Doors shut at 4.30pm, and as long as you are in the queue by 4.30pm you will see an expert. On arrival you will be given a ticket for the appropriate expert. Enjoy the day!
hello i have a pair of satsuma vases at around two and a half foot tall with p101 printed on the underneath and have always wanted to know more about them as they were passed down to me by my father. Please can u help.

I believe tha the road show comes to Charleston SC near where I live. I want to know when they will be back and what is the cost.

I have a Chineese /Japaneese vase, green background, gold handles and rim creamy inside. Japaneese ladies in a garden painted on with what looks like 333 on the base. I'm sure it's rather old and wondered if it might be worth anything. Where could it be valued?
