Free Adult Ballet Classes With Sky Arts And English National Ballet
Would you like the opportunity to spend the day with the English National Ballet, learning how the techniques and exercises used by the professional dancers can benefit your health and fitness, whatever your age?
Well now here is your chance as Sky Arts and English National Ballet (ENB) offer you a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience just what it's like to be a member of the company for a day.
The day will be split into three parts, allowing you to get up close and personal with the dancers, go behind the scenes of the ENB and enjoy the evening performance - all for free!
Take part in an adult ballet workshop in the morning - no prior experience is necessary - led by some of ENB's senior dancers who will teach you basic ballet moves as well as stretching techniques and simple exercises which can be incorporated into your everyday life to help keep you feeling fit and healthy.
Whether you're male or female, young or old, this is a unique opportunity to learn from the experts whilst at the same time providing you with a gentle workout which will bring a glow to your cheeks.
Following the workshop, participants will then have the chance to sit in and observe the dancers hard at work, during their daily rehearsal. Something that would not normally be open to members of the public, but a great opportunity to pick up a few tips!
Finally to bring the day to a close, Sky Arts and ENB would like to invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy the evening's performance of the ballet, completely free of charge.

Manchester, The Palace Theatre
Friday 14th November
9:30am - 10:30am Adult Ballet Class, 11am - 12:30pm Company Class, 7:30pm Evening Performance - Manon
Liverpool, Empire
