Nick Kennedy Named In England TeamPosted on: 06 November 2008 by Gareth Hargreaves
50connect would like to congratulate Nick Kennedy after the London Irish star was named in the England rugby team to play the Pacific Islanders at Twickenham.
Nick, who gives 50connect an exclusive insight into life as a modern day professional with a weekly diary piece, will line up alongside England skipper Steve Borthwick in the second row on Saturday.
In the past five years, Nick has made over 150 appearances in the London Irish first team and won five caps playing for England Saxons.
He’s formed a formidable partnership with club captain Bob Casey in the second row and after touring New Zealand with the full England squad this summer has been handed his first cap by new boss Martin Johnson.
The match is England’s first of four Autumn tests with New Zealand, Australia and world champions South Africa all set to visit the “home of rugby” in the coming weeks.
You can see how Nick gets on this Saturday by tuning into Sky Sports 2 from 2pm to see the match live and exclusive.
