Family entertainment with all the trimmings! The Raymond Gubbay 2008 Christmas Festival is a feast of magical, seasonal music featuring carols, classics, and candlelit Yuletide celebrations. 

It's the perfect way to start your Christmas whether you live in Cardiff or Dublin, Birmingham or Glasgow, Liverpool or London.  There are over 200 magical shows to choose from all over the UK - and plenty of opportunities to join in and sing.

At the ever popular 'Christmas Carol Singalong' - in Dublin and London, Manchester and Glasgow - you can clap your hands and sing your heart out.

Carols By CandlelightThe well loved 'Carols by Candlelight' brings you the music of Bach, Vivaldi and Mozart, and carols for all, performed by the Mozart Festival Orchestra in full 18th century costume. 

Everyone dreams of a 'White Christmas'.  Well, we can promise there'll be one in London, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham.  Packed full of all time Christmas favourites like Winter Wonderland and Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire this wonderful show will leave you glowing with Christmas cheer.

At the Royal Albert Hall in London you can celebrate 'The Glory of Christmas' with a concert of traditional music the whole family will enjoy.  You can also enjoy it in Glasgow, Manchester, and Dublin.

Christmas Carol Singalong'Strictly Strauss' will be dancing its way round the UK to over thirty towns and cities including Preston, Glasgow, Llandudno, Derby, Norwich, Tunbridge Wells and Bournemouth.  The heady mixture of romantic music, enchanting dancing and gorgeous costumes will whisk you back to the gilded ballrooms of 19th century Vienna.

New this year is 'Blockbusters! - Music from the Movies'. Robert Powell introduces an evening of unforgettable musical themes from award winning films, including James Bond, Harry Potter, Dr Zhivago and Gladiator.  Robert will be appearing in Glasgow, Birmingham and the Barbican Centre in London.

If swing is your thing then don't miss the UK's greatest Big Band.  Ray McVay leads The Glenn Miller Orchestra UK in an evening of legendary hits and wartime chart toppers.  This year they're also joined by international singing star, Rosemary Squires and the Jumping Jack Jivers.  The 'American Patrol' will be visiting London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and Liverpool.

White ChristmasAnd there's much more to choose from.  Brenda Edwards' Gospel Christmas at the Barbican Centre, a Hogmanay Gala in Glasgow and an Opera Gala Night in London, Glasgow and Manchester, are just a few of the highlights.
