The Worst Kit Ever?

Is Stade Francais' latest number the worst ever?

French rugby giants Stade Francais will launch their Heineken Cup campaign this weekend and their opponents Ulster may well be wondering if the right opposition have turned up.

Not content with their regular shocking pink number, or their Hawaiian shirt-inspired effort from last season, France's top side have gone all Andy Warhol with their latest design, which will be on show at Ravenhill against the Irish province on Saturday.

Stade unveiled their shocking new strip, this time featuring multicoloured images of Blanche de Castille - wife of Louis VIII and mother to Louis IX - at the end of September to gasps from the rugby world.

And on Saturday, the big burly front-row forwards from Paris will be wearing this monstrosity.

But the new stash doesn’t seem to have stopped Stade dominating in the French Top 14. The Parisians have romped to seven straight successive victories after a 34-16 win over Montauban this weekend.
