The Scottish number one golfer gives his thoughts on the upcoming Ryder Cup and The Scottish Open.
With the Scottish Open teeing off this week we catch up with golfing legend Colin Montgomerie to discuss his chances at the Open and also his thoughts on this year’s Ryder Cup.
Having recently commented that he would pick Padraig Harrington and Luke Donald if he was selecting the team right now, Monty also discusses the likelihood of him being selected rather than relying on a wild card.
In addition the Scot speaks about how Tiger Woods’s withdrawal from the Ryder Cup due to injury will affect the US team.
We talk to the golfing legend, who recently reclaimed his place as the top world-ranked Scot, as he prepares for the Scottish Open and tells us what it feels like to once again be playing on home soil.
