The Searchers, The Foundations, Dave Dee and many more will be rocking the Midlands this summer.
The climax of the 2008 Burntwood Wakes, near Lichfield in Staffordshire, will be the Sunday Concert. This year it will be the Sixties Summer Festival, on 10th August.

This is the biggest sixties event in the UK this year and talking to some of the artists, the largest gathering since that era.
The Animals, The Searchers, The Move, The Tremeloes, Dave Berry & The Cruisers, The Fortunes, Dave Dee, Marmalade and The Foundations featuring Clem Curtis will all be playing.
With a line up featuring more than 50 top ten records, and not a tribute band in sight, this promises to be a fantastic finish to another great Burntwood Wakes Festival so why not get your dancing shoes on!
The Sixties Summer Festival takes place at The Bowl @ Burntwood Rugby Club which is just off both the A5 or the M6 Toll. The Bowl is a natural amphitheatre that in recent years has hosted concerts by varied acts including Status Quo and Tony Christie.
Doors will open at 2pm, the show starts at 3pm and finishes at 10pm.
The Sixties Summer Festival is part of the Burntwood Wakes.
Friday evening on 8th August will be 'The Wakes Unsigned', a concert featuring unsigned local bands which will be free to the public.
On Saturday 9th August the fun begins at 12pm with the Family Fun Day. There will be a circus, fairground rides, The Inflatable World, and The Crazy Bears plus jazz bands will be performing, to name just a few of the many attractions.
Rounding off Saturday's fun will be the Proms in the Park which begins at 7.30pm. Building on previous years success's this year's Proms will again feature the wonderful Amadeus Orchestra along with 'The World's foremost Tenor direct from La Scala, Milan'. So bring along your food and picnic blankets for an evening of culture and enjoyment.
