Holiday or Permanent Living on the Costa Blanca, Spain
Posted on: 18 November 2011 by Tony Carter
We have just returned from a lovely over 55's resort near Benidorm that offers superb accommodation, fine food, excellent facilities and entertainment, a full social life and 24/7 medical cover. Ciudad Patricia.
Designed for the over 55's this beautiful residential park is claimed to be the best kept secret of the Costa Blanca. The climate, the lovely gardens, the comfort, security and all the facilities and services available provide a relaxing and enjoyable place to have a holiday or, as for some of the people we met, for permament living.
The park is perfectly maintained and there are three large swimming pools, a mini golf, a petanca and a tennis court, lounge, theatre, cinema, library with free internet facilities, restaurant, bar, terraces and a supermarket. A bus and buggy service provide easy access around the park and into town.
Nearby are lovely beaches, golf courses, restaurants and theme parks and those of you who know the Costa Blanca will not need telling about the gentle year round climate. Apparently, according to a study of the World Health Organisation (WHO), the climate in this region belongs to one of the healthiest in the world, because of the ideal combination of temperature, low atmospheric humidity and the high quantity of hours of sun light. We were there in November and the weather was blue sky and sunshine with temperatures around 23 centigrade.
Apartments are available to rent for a week to several months or you can buy a lifetime usage of an apartment for permanent living. The website is http://www.ciudadpatricia.co.uk
