Home Remedies to Treat Your Grey Hair

Generally, grey hair occurs as the sign of aging, but you can find grey hair prematurely in some people due to various factors. Besides the obvious step of simply coloring your hair, there are some other things you can do to treat grey hair.
One of the main reasons behind the grey hair is the ending of production of coloring element in hair, called melanin. Some of the common reasons behind getting grey hair are genetics and aging, but hair may become prematurely grey because of stress, malnutrition, lack of protein and B12 and severe illness, which can all affect melanin production.
You can try out one of the various home remedies to restore your grey hair. Some of the home made tips to help you are as follows:
• One is to make a mixture of two parts coconut oil and one part lemon juice. Massage your scalp with the mixture every day for 15 minutes.
• You can also try rubbing out your nails of both the hands together. It has no side effects. If you do this for five to seven minutes per day, your grey hair should begin changing color in about a month
• Plain black tea with a tbs. of salt is also a good alternative to treat your grey hair. Massage the mixture into your roots. Leave it on for an hour, and then rinse out with plain water. Do not shampoo it out.
