Well I'll admit it's not exactly wine but Babycham is back - yes, this best-seller from the 60s and 70s is back in the news as we approach the first Christmas of the new Millennium, proving that some things never really go out of fashion!

Well I'll admit it's not exactly wine but Babycham is back - yes, this best-seller from the 60s and 70s is back in the news as we approach the first Christmas of the new Millennium, proving that some things never really go out of fashion!

Babycham's revival started in a handful of London's coolest nightspots, where 70's retro has become the height of style. Browns, the members-only nightclub in Covent Garden, has declared every Saturday night a `Babycham Night'. At the nearby Langley, guests are rushing for the barman's latest creation the `Yeah Baby', made from Babycham and cassis, served in the trademark green bottle, with a straw.

Widespread media coverage of Babycham's rediscovered popularity fuelled the drink's resurgence and bars, pubs, off licences and supermarkets are reporting increased demand from customers. Pre-Christmas overtime looks a distinct possibility for workers at the Shepton Mallet site where Babycham is produced!

And you can add extra sparkle to your festive celebrations with the Special Edition `popping cork' Babycham. Available in a standard 75cl bottle the Special Edition Babycham is available now for a limited period only.
