Tucking hair behind the ear - When someone makes this action they are being cautious and controlled. This does not always mean they are confident though, since this often suggests nervousness or embarrassment.
Twisting hair around your finger - This action suggests the dynamics in the room are not calm, signifying tension, antagonism or frustration.
Flicking hair in a gentle way could be flirtatious but if it carried out in an agitated manner it could sugests aggression or irritability.
Massaging scalp or running hands over your head implies you are easing stress or calming yourself
Running fingers through your hair - This suggests inconstancy and restlessness. People who do this lack confidence and self-belief.
